In addition to supergraphics for the student center portion of the addition and renovation of The Graduate School of Journalism, Thumb also developed a wayfinding system for the entire building including ADA room identification and donor signage as well as directional and guidance systems. The room identification prototype, shown below, emphasizes matte acrylic materials and thickness of their assembled section. While using standard materials it is possible to achieve complex effects to support architectural concepts.
